- Manage and maintain the barn facilities, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Coordinate and schedule feeding, grooming, and exercise routines for animals.
- Monitor animal health and administer necessary medications or treatments.
- Ensure proper handling and care of animals, including training and socialization.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed for feed, supplies, or equipment.
- Maintain inventory of feed, supplies, and equipment, and place orders as necessary.
- Operate power tools and machinery for repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with veterinarians or other professionals for specialized animal care needs.
Experience - Previous experience in a similar role as a Barn Manager or Farm Manager is preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment repair is required.
- Ability to handle animals safely and provide basic care is essential.
